Gina St. Aubin has her B.A. in Psychology and is a former Victim’s Advocate in Colorado where she currently resides with her husband and three young children. She is a mother, wife, blogger, and writer. Since her eldest son was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at 9 months, her family has been on an arduous journey of sifting through specialists, pushing for answers of the unexplainable.

Beyond Cerebral Palsy, her son is diagnosed with Landau-Kleffner Syndrome (a rare epileptic disorder effecting comprehension and articulation of speech – verbal aphasia), Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder and Developmental Delays. In addition to advocating for those with intellectual and physical challenges, Gina candidly explores the difficulties in finding a balance between parenthood and self, while sharing her inspirational, humorous and sometimes heart-wrenching journey on her blog.

Though much of Gina St. Aubin’s writings reflect upon experiences as a parent of a special needs child, she continues to draw upon a number of personal and professional experiences, giving a well-rounded view in all that she writes..
